I spent four years studying biology intending to go into the medical field, only to realize that it wasn't my true passion. After a few unfulfilling jobs post-grad, I stumbled upon my old DSLR that had been collecting dust for years. I picked it up and within a few days, I became OBSESSED with learning everything I could about photography. I watched Youtube videos, read articles, joined Facebook groups, and found an incredible community of creatives through Instagram. 7 months later, I was able to quit my 9-5 job and dive headfirst into full-time photography!
I'm passionate about giving back and sharing what I've learned from being a full-time wedding photographer. I remember how it felt to wake up every morning and go to a job that made me miserable, and that's why I'm passionate about helping others find what sets their soul on fire and brings them joy every day. I firmly believe that you can build a career that you love AND earn great money doing it. If a girl who studied science can pick up her camera with no formal photography education and build a thriving six-figure photography business in less than a year - you can do it too!
